How to Process a Credit Sale on Valor VP100?
To process a credit card sale on the Valor PayTech VP100 terminal you will begin by entering the transaction amount on the main screen and then press OK to proceed. Once the “Present Card” screen appears, you can either swipe, insert, or tap the customer’s credit card. Alternatively, you may manually also enter the credit card number using the keypad. If the retail credit card terminal is set up to prompt for tips and signatures then the customer will be asked to input a tip amount and provide a digital signature on the TFT LCD touchscreen. After completing this step, you’ll be prompted to select a receipt delivery method. You can choose to print the receipt, send it via email or SMS, or opt for no receipt at all, depending on the customer’s preference.
